We take off for Ireland n Sunday. A worthy destination. It promises tp be fun and certainly unique. Since when has this vaguely protestant [ever noticed that “protestant” contains the word “protest.”? We are the original rebels, I guess. Never thought to that. Wonder if any of those pablum milquetoasts ever thought of that. Wonder if any of those pablum milquetoasts ever saw themselves that way. I never did. And don’t. Speaking of rebels, WE will have daily mass. Susanne grew up that way. Not just a daily prayer, but a whole bloody mass. A mess of a mass
Not that I have anyting against mass. Not anymore. Except for the creed, which flies. right by me, I can absorb and appreciate much of it. Prrayer is a positive thing If you’re praying for a right thing. Positive. For someone or something else besides your own benefit. Or thanks. Has to be something like that or it’s not prayer. It’s narcissim or something else we neither have time for nor do we sanctify ourselves or others
But I digress. Except how can you digress from a digrression?
